It's hard to resist the aroma when you walk into our bakery. Our display case is a feast for the eyes, overflowing with all kinds of pastries. Several dozen treats fill up the case, shelves and counter. "I'll take one of each!" is a comment that we never tire of hearing.

Wafers

These trays of 10-12 slightly sweet wafers make an excellent accompaniment to coffee or afternoon tea, as crackers for cheese, or simply enjoyed on their own. Flavors are:

Crumiri Wafers

These buttery semolina wafers are modeled on a regional specialty of Piemonte. They feature Shepherd’s Grain semolina flour and are sprinkled with sesame seeds before baking.

Pecan Wafers

These deep brown wafers feature Shepherd’s Grain low-gluten flour and roasted pecans. Finished with a light sprinkling of sugar.

Walnut Anise Wafers

We make this thin version of our roasted Walnut Anise Biscotti with Shepherd’s Grain low-gluten flour. Their slight sweetness balances nicely with the nuttiness of ground walnuts and anise.
